When I had my rear subframe replaced under warranty, I had to have the flexidisc at the diff end of the propshaft and an exhaust clamp replaced. If fitting a new one I paint them first as the factory paint is little more than a token gesture. Spray some cavity wax inside via the holes too. You'll need a four wheel alignment after.

That the subframe has failed prematurely is not in question, and the dealer / MBUK have agreed to replace it FOC which is all good. The issue is that the OP's car has been declared unsafe to drive meaning that the OP has to source alternative transport until such time as the repair is completed, and the dealer / MBUK either cannot or will not.
